Advocates and members of Long Island Immigrant Students Advocates kept up the pressure on Congressman Peter King, rallying at his district office in Massapequa Park on Monday, continuing recent action from various advocacy groups.

They urged him to pass a clean Dream Act before the legislative session ends for the year.

“My neighbors, my family, my community needs him to sign on to a clean Dream Act. He needs to care about all his constituents, not just the ones who live here down on Park [Boulevard],” said Blanca Villanueva, Education Organizer for the Long Island Progressive Coalition, speaking at the rally.
