Join the Nassau County Chapter on Thursday, April 28 for a rally at Nassau Community College that will bring together advocates for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights and immigrants’ rights. We’re sponsoring the rally with student groups from the college and other civil rights and LGBT advocates.
Gather with neighbors and friends to press Gov. Cuomo and other elected officials to pass marriage fairness legislation and withdraw our state from Secure Communities, a misguided federal immigration enforcement program that threatens civil rights and weakens public safety. Free T-shirts for all who attend! We will gather in front of the College Union building and march through the campus.
