June was an historic month for immigration reform, with the proposed Senate bill passing during the last week of the month. The bill will now move on to the House of Representatives, where it faces a tough road ahead.
We couldn’t have gotten this far without the efforts of the entire immigration advocacy community and its supporters. The rallies that we attended, the phone calls we made and the social media outreach that we did to our elected officials all made a difference.
