This alert came out this morning from the Department of Homeland Security:
ALERT: USCIS will extend, through Jan. 4, 2021, the validity of certain TPS-related documentation (Employment Authorization Documents; Forms I-797, Notice of Action; and Forms I-94, Arrival/Departure Record) for beneficiaries under the TPS designations for El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Nepal, Nicaragua, and Sudan, provided that the affected beneficiaries remain individually eligible for TPS.
It appears that those with TPS Employment Authorization cards do not have to file for renewal and this is an “automatic extension.” Those who have lost their cards or whose cards are no longer useable may want to file for a new card, however. On Long Island, CARECEN (516)489-8330 and (631)273-8721 as well as Catholic Charities (631) 789-5210 are filing for TPS replacement cards for a fee.
