Long Island Wins would like to thank President Barack Obama for his bold leadership on administrative relief. Estimates say that nearly 5 million undocumented Americas will benefit from his plan, including tens of thousands of Long Islanders.
Finally, millions of hardworking families will be able to stay together, come out of the shadows and more fully contribute to America’s economy and culture. All Long Islanders, immigrant and non-immigrant alike, will benefit by allowing all community members to participate fully, which will create stronger more prosperous communities.
Mr. President, we sincerely thank you for finally doing what you can within your legal authority to help and protect so many who are “truly part of American life.”
