There will be a rally outside the Trump forum on immigration being held in Bethpage. Trump is in town to exploit anti-immigrant sentiment-yet again. From the organizers of the rally:
If you get to the protest area and no one is there after 11:30, it means they moved us. Check the event facebook page to see where we may have been moved, or officers will be there to direct you.
Rally: Gather between 10:30 and 11:30 Rally to start at 11:30 a.m.
The meeting between Trump, King and Nassau and Suffolk Law Enforcement will be held at 510 Grumman Road, Bethpage, NY sometime between 1 and 4:30 p.m.
The zone set aside for protesters is located at the corner of Grumman Road and South Oyster Bay Road. That is where you should go.
South Oyster Bay Road between Grumman Road and Route 107 will be closed between 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.Grumman Road is subject to full closure between 1 and 4:30 p.m.
Parking:
People are not advised to try to use Grumman road and there is no parking once you’re past South Oyster Bay road and onto Grumman Road (It’s inside the Homeland Security/Grumman Complex)
People should park their cars wherever they can find spots to the West of South Oyster Bay Road and walk to the corner of South Oyster Bay Road and Grumman Road to the protest area.
