March with Long Island Wins on October 5 for Comprehensive Immigration Reform

Long Island Wins joins its allies nationwide in marching for comprehensive immigration reform.

This Saturday, October 5 is a National Day for Human Dignity and Respect for immigrants, with over 90 events and mobilizations planned across the country, including here on Long Island.

Join Long Island Wins and immigrant leaders and advocates from across Long Island as we unite for a March for Dignity and Respect to call on Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reform. The march will begin in Ross Park, in Brentwood, at 12pm, and it will be followed immediately by a rally and press conference.

October 5 will be a critical day across the country as thousands mobilize to call on the House to pass fair, comprehensive immigration reform that works for everyone, immigrant and native alike. Please join your fellow Long Islanders as we march for human dignity and respect and to keep families together.

The event is sponsored by Long Island Wins, Make the Road New York, SEPA Mujer, LI Jobs with Justice, New York Communities for Change, Long Island Civic Engagement Table, Local 32BJ (SEIU), CARECEN, and Organizing for Action.
