
Long Islanders are anxiously awaiting President Barack Obama’s imminent announcement on executive action for immigration Thursday evening. The program is expected to provide relief and improve the lives of tens of thousands of immigrant Long Islanders, and will positively impact all Long Islanders, immigrant and non-immigrant alike.
Many families and organizations will be celebrating the moment by hosting watch parties.
Make the Road NY will host one such watch party at its local headquarters in Brentwood with a press conference immediately following. Long Island Wins will be in attendance, and we encourage all Long Islanders who support comprehensive immigration reform to come joins us.
