But what’s the most effective way to register voters? And how can we develop enough people power to register thousands of people in our communities? And how can we build strong enough teams to be successful?
The Long Island Civic Engagement Table is pleased to announce our next Movement Building Training: Registering Voters to Build Community Power. This two-evening training (June 12 and June 19) will help you answer all of these critical questions. This training follows up and builds on our first Movement Building training, and it will include direct training on 1) how to most effectively register voters, 2) how to build or join a voter registration team, and 3) how to develop a highly effective voter registration strategy. In short, it will give you the tools you need to empower your community this summer; you will leave with a clear plan of action!
