Court Rules Against Arizona Again

Alabama’s worst-in-the-nation anti-immigrant law has been largely on-hold since the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that it violated the Constitution. Nativists suffered another blow this week when the court denied a request for a new hearing in the case.

The Alabama law was written by Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who was also the author of Arizona’s unconstitutional SB-1070.
