UPDATE 11/2/2012: THE DEBATE IS CANCELLED DUE TO GAS SHORTAGE

According to Daniel Altschuler of the Long Island Civic Engagement Table there will be a First Congressional District Debate this Friday. Here is his message:

We are going forward with the candidate forum on Friday evening, with a slightly altered format.

We will begin with a hurricane relief collection, where people can bring money or non-perishable food donations, which will be passed to relief agencies. We also hope to have someone on hand who can answer questions about disaster relief applications.

We will then proceed with the forum with candidates, with both Tim Bishop and Randy Altschuler taking questions from representatives of community organizations.

Again, the event will be this Friday, November 2nd, at 6:30pm in the Congregational Church of Patchogue—95 E. Main Street, Patchogue.
