Nassau Voters and Candidates to Talk Minimum Wage, School Funding at Forum

As Election Day looms on Long Island, elected leaders and candidates across Nassau County are debating a variety of issues, including raising minimum wage and fully funding public education.

On Thursday, Oct. 16, Long Island Wins will co-host a community forum in Westbury to give Nassau residents a chance to discuss key issues and to hear directly from the candidates where they stand on topics such as improving jobs and schools.

The event, part of our Growing A Diverse Long Island series with Long Island Civic Engagement Table and Noticia, will take place at the “Yes We Can” Center at Westbury. More information can be found in the flyer below.
