Marriage Equality Supporters Demand a Vote in New York’s State Senate [VIDEO]

Long Islanders in support of the Marriage Equality Act rallied today in front of the Rockville Center office of New York State Senator Dean Skelos, calling for the state senate to vote on the bill immediately.

That pressure, as well as similar rallies that have been taking place in Albany and across New York State this week, appear to have succeeded in getting the bill on the state senate agenda tonight. Once the legislation comes up for a vote, political analysts believe that the bill will pass, marking a momentous stride for LGBT rights in the state.

David Kilmnick, the CEO of the Long Island Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Services Network, organized the rally in Rockville Center today, and he sent along some video and photos of Long Islanders showing their support for the bill:
