Long Island Wins recently received a $20,000 grant from the Long Island Unitarian Universalist Fund at the Long Island Community Foundation. We would like to recognize the importance of having a community foundation that is committed to improving life on Long Island.
Long Island Wins is hard at work building stronger and more welcoming communities. Our communications campaign, public engagement events, leadership development, and our work promoting practical and sensible immigration solutions are all going strong thanks to support from donors like the Long Island Community Foundation.
The Long Island Community Foundation has made more than $130 million in grants from hundreds of funds established by individuals, families, and businesses. It dedicates its work of improving our region by identifying current and future community needs, strengthening the Island’s nonprofit sector and encouraging philanthropy.
Long Island Wins is fortunate to be a partner in the Long Island Community Foundation’s commitment to a sustainable and philanthropic Long Island.
