
Long Island Wins is seeking a full-time administrative coordinator. We are a non-profit organization that promotes practical immigration solutions that work for everyone, rooted in respect and dignity for all.
Experience Required: Minimum of two years experience in a position of similar complexity and responsibility required. College degree and non-profit experience is preferred. Spanish language skills a plus.
Responsibilities: Duties include answering phones, filing, purchasing, scheduling, planning meetings, planning and implementing events, creating and maintaining databases, light bookkeeping, updating our event calendar, recruiting and managing interns, light photo and video management, and general office work. Qualified applicants will possess good communication skills, computer knowledge (Excel, Word, QuickBooks, Internet Research; Preferred Filemaker Pro), and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Salary: Mid-30s
The organization is currently located in Port Washington but will soon move to the SUNY Old Westbury campus.
