Over the next three weeks of this month of July, leading organizations from across Long Island—including Make the Road New York, Organizing for Action, Long Island Wins, Long Island Civic Engagement Table, and SEPA Mujer—are launching a Phone Bank Campaign to urge our representatives to support comprehensive immigration reform for the benefit of our communities. We are asking Long Islanders to call their representatives to take a stand on this issue and call to support immigration reform.
So, if you are a Long Island resident, please call your Representative to URGE him/her to support comprehensive immigration legislation that creates a pathway to citizenship and keep families together! And please spread the word widely!
