Last year, President Obama signed into law the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which gave temporary legal status to undocumented youth in the United States brought to the country as children by their parents.
These young people, also called DREAMers, are the future of our nation. They grew up in America, identify as Americans and have been educated in our schools.
