Latinas from across Long Island will tell their stories in Brentwood tonight at a Bilingual Welcoming Circle and Book Club, a joint project between the Long Island Wins initiative Welcoming Long Island and the Herstory Writers Workshop.
Herstory works to offer women tools that transform their individual voices and experiences into literary works of art leading to personal and societal change. The focus of tonight’s gathering will be on motherhood, and it will be something fun and inspiring for adults and children.
