Since March 11, Emily Samantha Ruiz, a US citizen, has been stuck in Guatemala, a victim of a de facto deportation by customs officials.
Beginning today, I’ll be reporting from Guatemala regarding Emily’s return, in addition to other stories. At present, I’m about to take off on a flight with David Sperling, Long Island Wins blogger and the lawyer representing Ruiz, as well as two members of Sperling’s staff.
