Every five seconds a person is forced to leave their home in order to escape war, persecution or natural disasters. Organizations from all over the world are looking to build networks of compassion and vitality where refugees can thrive and fulfill their dreams.
A new video from the Church World Service explains the refugee crisis and the growing need for a global humanitarian response. Many refugee families from Central America are living in our Long Island communities. We need to welcome them with compassion and understanding.
