
One thing we learned from last night’s Iowa caucuses is that each vote counts. Mitt Romney won by just eight of them.
My organization, CARECEN, is part of the Long Island Civic Engagement Table, which Daniel Altschuler wrote about yesterday on Long Island Wins. The table helps immigrants become citizens and encourages them to vote through proven methods. Whether you like the outcome of yesterday’s vote or not, it demonstrates that increasing turnout can change election results.
