It’s time for real immigration reform!
In recent weeks, the President and leaders in Congress have made clear calls for immigration reform, and one thing is certain: the conversation in America is changing. You helped bring about that change—but there’s still work to be done.
On Thursday morning, February 21, from 8:30AM – 12:00PM, teams from Make the Road New York (MRNY), the Long Island Civic Engagement Table (LICET), and its allies will take to the streets of Brentwood to talk to residents about the importance of immigration reform and register them to vote. Community members will then speak at a press conference at 11:30AM in Ross Park to explain why they are demanding a just and humane immigration overhaul in 2013.
Can we count on you to join us?
