John McCain went on CNN to warn House Republicans that they are alienating the fastest growing voter block-Latinos-by stalling immigration reform.  “States like mine, over time, the demographics will overtake, not only mine but throughout the whole Southwest and many other parts of the country,” said McCain.  “I have not given up hope that we will act, and we must act,” he said.

McCain’s remarks came less than two weeks after John Boehner appeared to be caving in to Tea Party pressure to kill immigration reform.
