Job Opportunity: Paid Social Media Intern


Earlier this summer, I wrote about Deputized, a new documentary examining the 2008 hate crime killing of Marcelo Lucero in Patchogue. You can read my synopsis of the film here.

The filmmakers are looking for a social media intern with a passion for the issues raised in the film, including immigration.

“Social Media Intern for Feature-Length Documentary (Paid)

We’ve just completed a feature-length documentary about hate crimes against Latinos, and are looking for a passionate, creative, reliable intern for all our social media activity.

—Strong writer.

—Self motivated.

—Will be given goals and directives for our social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter) and be responsible for meeting them.

—Already passionate and well informed about the issues at hand.

—Relevant experience with social media a must.
