Free Legal Guide to Help Those Arrested in Raids Reopen “Deport Orders”

With raids set to begin on Sunday, most those expected to be arrested are immigrants who were detained at the border, released, and then scheduled for Immigration Court hearings and ordered deported. In many cases these will be immigrants who did not attend their hearings and who received “in absentia” orders. Catholic Legal Immigration Network (CLINIC) has published a free guide for attorneys and legal workers to prepare motions to reopen these in absentia orders. You can access it here.
