Attorney General Jeff Sessions continues to try to intimidate so-called “Sanctuary Cities” into abandoning their current policing standards. Sessions has said that state and local governments that do not comply with Trump administration requirements for police cooperation with ICE will lose Federal support for their departments.

Today, the Justice Department again questioned whether reports from local police that they are in compliance with Federal law were truthful. The jurisdictions being threatened by the Attorney General today are California, Connecticut, Chicago, New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Miami-Dade County in Florida, Milwaukee County in Wisconsin and Chicago.
