SEIU United Long Term Care Workers along with other advocates for commonsense immigration reform released a video today to raise awareness around the thousands of families who will be separated from parents, spouses and other loved ones this holiday season due to our broken immigration system.
The video, entitled One Family’s Story: A Nation’s Fight for Immigration Reform, shares the emotional story of a family who faced an uncertain future after a husband and father of two was arrested in a raid and faced deportation. It also invites viewers to take action by contacting California Congressmen Gary Miller and Paul Cook and telling them to stand up for what’s right by passing immigration reform now.
