If you work with the immigrant community and need a speaker on immigration legal issues, CARECEN is now offering to come to your organization and deliver free one-hour workshops in Spanish on topics of interest to the Latino immigrant community.
The most popular workshop is “How To Become a Citizen.” This talk explains the benefits of naturalizing, describes who is eligible, and what the basic process is. A second workshop provides information on how US citizens and permanent residents can apply for their family members to come to the US.
CARECEN offers a workshop on the rights of the undocumented, including their rights during an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid. Workshops on NACARA for Salvadorans and Guatemalans and TPS are also available.
