During our radio show at OWWR.

In this program we talk to Latifa and Colin Woodhouse, both dedicated social justice leaders at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock in Manhasset.

Latifa Woodhouse was born and raised in Kandahar, Afghanistan and whose family history spans twenty generations of Imams. She met Colin Woodhouse while he was teaching in Afghanistan. They finally made their way to Great Neck 26 years ago where they raised their 5 children.

We discuss their humanitarian mission in January to Lesvos, Greece, to help refugees.

You can listen to The Long Island Wins Radio Show every Thursday at 3:00 p.m. by visiting www.owwr.org.
