PATCHOGUE — A play by Margarita Espada plays for the first time in the community where Marcelo Lucero was killed. “What Killed Marcelo Lucero?” depicts the assault and stabbing death of Lucero, an Ecuadoran immigrant, and has been considered controversial during its performances across Long Island.
